It took 18 years to finally get to see Billy play live and boy was it worth the wait. Flew over from Belfast on Thursday night for the gig in expectant mood and flew back on Saturday in eager anticipation of the next one.
The band was tight, the set was spot on and the crowd/venue was great.
I only discovered Billy's solo stuff a couple of months ago. So after 18 years of just having 2 albums and some 12" singles to listen to I now have even more of Billy's great songs.
It really one of those gigs that I will never forget.
Thanks Billy

Glad you all had a nice time. I hope to get to a gig soon because I have been communicating with Billy for about 4 or so years now and I love his music. Just things seem to crop up just before his gigs! I will get there one day I am sure!

Just blown away by the whole night! Shouted to Lee on the bass early doors - as if he knows me - and gave him a massive thumbs up, he must've been wondering who the hell I was!
Lots of Henry worship on the keyboards and the drummer looked like a young lad enjoying himself - seems to me he kept Billy rocking at the end!
The older songs obviously fired a real spark but the newer ones were terrific too and seemed to make even more sense to me when played live, just a bit more raw I suppose.
Billy himself was just as I remembered him the last time I saw him live, too long ago, but has obviously matured into a very accomplished showman and songwriter. I've got a strong feeling his second coming is just around the corner - and it couldn't happen to a nicer bloke.
Cheers Billy, great, great night with a tremendously welcoming vibe and special thanks for playing "Fulham Court" - wow. Will be keeping a watchful eye out for the next gigs.
