Hi Ed "Patience is a virtue" Given to some but taken by others! My quote, but Wales is a long way away and im sure that their will be quite a few die hard Alarm fans standing at the border so as not to allow such a quality piece of music that is The Turtle dove boutique in! Im sure the album will be with you soon. Are you coming up to London for the gig? The album is classic so listen to it loud!!
Regards Hugh

The Alarm fans will definately be standing at the border with their 68 Guns and battle cries now as I just gave it another plug in the 'what are you listening to' thread on their forum! Suspect Mike Peters was more interested in the Man U game today though, he's a major fan! xx

Mike Peters considers Billy Franks to be the most talented musician he has ever played with! I'm a die hard Alarm fan and was introduced to Billy through Mike Peter's himself. Infact I think The Alarm and Billy Franks are very simular in what they are trying to achieve. Both treat their fans as family, and both creat music that inspires love, hope and strength! Here's a question, are there any other artists out there like Mike and Billy that I don't know about?

Hi Ed I've been a fan of The Alarm since I first saw them play in Heaven... (that would be the club in Charing X!) in1984 I guess Mike Scott (Waterboys) has a similar attitude to Billy and Mike Peters, he's approachable, friendly and simply very passionate about music. I think commercial success was more a bi-product for him so he is still a very genuine guy. xx

"Church not made with hands" What a classic song that evokes such passion! Been listening to TDB yet again and the morer i listen the more im thinking very Faith Brothers/Billy solo in some of the tunes. Also have just connected the lyrics to the song ABOC,you have to listen very closely to the lyrics to hear the song title but what a song!! You guys have unleashed the beast with this one!!!!
Best regards Hugh

Hey Hugh
I love 'Church Not Made With Hands' too but think my top one has to be 'Red Army Blues'!
Might give the Waterboys a listen later if I can bear to eject Turtledove Boutique for a bit! ;-)
