It seems the forum has lost some of the posts about the album so it would be great to see some more reviews here?
I am currently chasing the music press to get the album reviewed so all feedback on here is useful for me to take a few soundbites from??
Thanks xx

With the release of the long awaited 'Turtledove Boutique' album one Britain's hidden treasures of quality singer-songwriting reminds us once again of his formidable talent.
Many songs contain very powerful & political lyrics which attempt to reveal the truth of what takes place across the world when power falls into the hands of a small group of men, some of whom are obviously not up to the task.
Quality runs through the album, personally my favourites are; 'No Need Of Bells', 'The Last Song You Here' (tear-jerking in it's beauty), 'My Most Beautiful Song', 'Beautiful People', 'Stolen Guitars' & the title track. It's great to finally have recorded versions of the last 3 as they have all been performed in recent years as part of Billy's live set.
Can't make my mind up about the track 'ABOC' but the humourous backing vocals make me smile!
The more this album is played the more the songs have grown on me, if you don't yet have a copy...........GO GRAB ONE WITHOUT DELAY!
Best Wishes
Steve

Finger slipped on that last one! Turtle Dove Boutique for me is in a class of its own. These are songs to heal heart, mind & soul.Every song has a meaning some deeper than others (I love ABOC!!! a very clever & thought provoking piece of work!) The song that sticks its fingers up is "King & queen of pop"Billy i salute you guys you have created a classically poppy song with meaning and lots of depth. If you havent already done so go out and get this album, trust me you will thank me for it!
Best regards Hugh
