Think we need some momentum around here guys...so as we all know we love Billy's music it would be interesting to know what else everyone is into? Last album I bought was the Red Hot Chillies - Californication! xx

Oh god is this going to sound really sad....I bet it will but the last album I bought was Alan Fletcher and The Waiting Room. Alan plays Karl Kennedy in Neighbours and I went to his gig. The cd is actually very good and not what I expected. www.myspace.com/alanfletcher - for some examples Well I like it, but then I like a lot of different types of music, I bet you guys wouldn't be seen dead at a Boyzone concert hehe

The last album I bought was The Ting Tings 'We Started Nothing'.
I first saw this band last October supporting New Young Pony Club at the Oxford Academy. Really energetic & entertaining performance.
As for the album it kind of runs out of steam towards the end but has about 4 really great tracks (singles?) at the start. For £8.99 I think that's about reasonable!!!
For a more 'classic rock' sound try Rilo Kiley 'Under The Blacklight'. Great female lead singer as have The Duke Spirit on 'Neptune'.
There you go, my last 3 purchases......looking to buy Billy's album at the gig!
To everyone who's going........... HAVE A GREAT TIME!!!
Regards
Steve

Well apart from Turtledove Boutique it was The Best Of The Spencer Davis Group, which was even better than I thought it was going to be. Prior to that it was HiFi by Hugh Cornwall, bought at a Hugh Cornwall acoustic gig, worth seeing if you get a chance and have a reasonable knowledge of Stranglers stuff. Trying to get Jeff Healey's latest and unfortunately his last CD but its gonna have to be an internet purchase thanks to the current crop of record stores stocking vast quantitys of mainstream shit!
